Once again, huge hip-hop – and Eminem – fan, Zane Lowe had the pleasure of interviewing the Rap God. This time the interview was split over 4 parts, broken up with 4 live performances. Em spoke in depth about the recording process of MMLP2 and performed Berzerk, Stan, Survival and Not Afraid.

Eminem and Zane Lowe interview. Part 1, 2, 3 and 4:
Eminem performed a freestyle with Slaughterhouse at Rap City last week and on Sunday night he took the EMAs by storm in Amsterdam. Em performed Berzerk and Rap God, and picked up ‘Best Hip Hop’ and ‘Global Icon’ awards. He was presented the Global Icon award by – the one and only – Ron Burgundy, which made for amusing viewing, with Em borrowing a famous line from the Anchorman film; ‘I love award’.
Here’s the videos from the EMAs and Rap City freestyle, the best quality I could find:
Em has got a few more promo stops lined up in Europe including visits to France, Germany, and the Jonathan Ross show in the UK.
Rap God is a song that is worthy of all the praise that can possibly be lumped onto it. It’s – quite simply – brilliant. So far we’ve been treated to the incredible video of the performance from the YouTube Music Awards, they’re in the process of editing an official music video and then there’s this. When the song was released there were a few people joking about how impossible it would be to do a lyrics video for this track, well, impossible it wasn’t. These guys have absolutely nailed it, this needs to be watched, re-watched and shared. Feast your eyes people, make sure you’ve got your speed glasses on, and don’t blink:
The album promo is in full swing this weekend with Em performing Berzerk (with Rick Rubin) and Survival (with Skylar Grey) on Saturday Night Live, giving a phone interview on Shade45, and tonight he will be rounding it all off at the YouTube Music Awards. Watch the performances (apologies for the quality, SNL have had all the decent ones removed) and hear the interview below:
